Answer:

Collage starts from isolated shapes to arrive at an overall composition. It consists of sticking pieces of paper, fabric or other material on a flat surface (fabric, board, cardboard or cardboard), distributing them in order to obtain a figurative composition or not.

A mosaic is a collage in which, starting from small pieces of material, a part or all of a previously delimited surface is covered.

Collage and mosaic develop the manipulative skills of tearing, splitting, cutting, wrinkling, chopping and gluing.
