the small lines means same size lines so there are 4 lines that are three inches, 3 lines that are 6 inches and one line that is 12 inches
so the equation looks like this
4(3) + 3(6) +12=12+18+12=42
the correct answer is 42 in

the answer is 42 in
the equation is... 3+3+3+3+6+6+6+12=42in
