if -5 and 3 are zero of a quadratic function and the "a" value is one,what is the "b" value in ax^2+bx+c

For a quadratic if the 2 zeroes are α and β then α + β = -b/a and αβ = c/a.
So:-
-5 + 3 = b/a = b

b = -2 ANSWER
