(a + 2b)/(a - 2b) = ( (a)/(b) + 2 (b)/(b) )/( (a)/(b) - 2 (b)/(b) ) = ( (3)/(7) + 2 )/( (3)/(7) - 2 ) = ( (17)/(7) )/( - (11)/(7) ) = - (17)/(11)

Answer:

If a/b = 3/7 which of the following is equal to (2a+4b)/(2a-4b)?

The answer is -17/11 but im trying to figure out how

Explanation:

a / b = 3/7; (2a + 4b) / (2a-4b)

Replace the values of a and b:

(2x3) + (4x7) / (2x3) - (4x7)

6 + 28/6 - 28

34 / - 22

We simplify dividing each term by 2 and we have left: - 17/11
