13 vehicles

To Find out the number of vehicles sold you just multiply the percentage by the Whole number
E.g:
65 people x 20%= 13
So 20% of 65 would be the number of vehicles sold
13
Hope this is simple and helpful.

Answer: Mr. Redding sold 13 vehicles.

Explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to multiply the number of people that came to the sales lot last month (65) by the percentage given (20%).

The percentage must be in decimal form, so, we have to divide the percentage by 100 (20/100 = 0.20)

  • 65 x 20% = 60 x 0.20 = 13 vehicles.

Mr. Redding sold 13 vehicles.
