5x - y = -3......this is just a matter of subbing in ur answer choices to see which one makes the equation true.

5x - y = -3.....subbing in (-2,-7)...x = -2 and y = -7
5(-2) - (-7) = -3
-10 + 7 = -3
-3 = -3 (correct)

so ur answer is : B. (-2,-7) <==
