Answer: B. work = power × time

C. time = work ÷ power

Explanation:

Given : The formula for calculating power is work divided by time .

i.e.
\text{power}=\frac{\text{work}}{\text{time}}

When we multiply time both sides , we get

\text{power}*\text{time}=\frac{\text{work}}{\text{time}}*\text{time}

\text{power}*\text{time}=\text{work}

i.e.
\text{work}=\text{power}*\text{time}

When we divide both sides by Power , we get

\frac{\text{work}}{\text{power}}=\text{time}

i.e.
\text{time}=\text{work}/\text{power}

Hence, the two ways of stating the same relationship :

B. work = power × time

C. time = work ÷ power
