Most of the potential energy which s contained in glucose is
retained in the 2 pyruvates.
pyruvate from glycosis is converted acetyl co A for it to enter citric acid cycle. pyruvate is modified by removal of carbonyl group followed by oxidation and tjhen attached to the co enzyme A
