Acetone is a common solvent and has a density of 0.7899 g/ml. what volume of acetone, in ml, has a mass of 27.3 g?

hey there!:

mass = 27.3 g

density = 0.7899 g/mL

volume = ?

therefore:

density = mass / volume

0.7899 = 27.3 / V

V = 27.3 /
0.7899

V = 34.56 mL
