As a clinical trials monitor, you recruit subjects for a new study. You want 175 subjects per group for 3 groups. How many subjects should you recruit for the whole study?

To find the answer, we can use multiplication, by multiplying the subjects needed for each group by the total number for the whole study:

subjects per group × total number of groups
= 175 × 3
=525

Therefore, 525 subjects is needed for the whole study.

Hope it helps!
