For what reason might a wealthy merchant or large landowner remain a Loyalist?

They feared that a revolt against Britain would cause the British to tighten restrictions on business.

They feared that a war would increase prices for their products.

They feared that the revolutionists would not be able to control the revolt, so their property might be damaged or destroyed.

They feared a change in government would cause them to lose their property.

Heyyyy!!!! I think the answer would be the last one "They feared a change in government would cause them to lose their property." because, (in my history class) we learned that loyalist would often be given land and money as well as protection in order for their loyalty.
