Victor needs 30 feet of rope. The rope he wants to buy is sold by the yard. He knows that there are 3 feet in 1 yard. How many yards should he buy

If he needs 30 feet, and can only buy multiples of 3 feet, he needs to see how many times 3 goes into 30. And since 30/3 is 10, he needs to get 10 yards of rope (or 10 times 3 feet).
