Answer:

When x = 1 , y = -2.

Explanation:

I'm assuming you want the equation of this line.

The 2 points close together are (0, -3) and (-1, -4).

Slope = (y1-y2) / (x1 -x2)

= (-4-(-3)) / (-1 - 0)

= -1 / -1 = 1

The y-intercept is where y = -3.

The equation of a straight line is y = mx + c where m = the slope and c = the y-intercept, so the equation of this line is y = 1x - 3

or y = x - 3 (the 1 may be omitted).

When x = 1, y = 1 - 3 = -2 (answer)

Answer:

-2

Explanation:

First, you have to find the slope.

Rise 1

------- = ------ = 1

Run 1

So, the slope is 1.

Next, if you write the graph in the slope intercept from, then it will be,

y=mx+b

y=1x+-3

We already know that x is 1 So,

y=1(1)+-3

y=-2

So, the answer is -2! Hope this helps!!!
