f(x) = 4x - 18

f(-3) - put x = -3 to the equation of the function

f(-3) = 4(-3) - 18 = -12 - 18 = -30

Answer: (-3, -30).

f(x) = -46

We have the equation:

4x - 18 = -46 add 18 to both sides

4x = -28 divide both sides by 4

x = -7

Answer: (-7, -46)
