Explanation:

To find the slope of a line

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

slope = (1-4)/(2-3)

= -3/-1

=3


Now we use the point slope form for a line

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-4 = 3 (x-2)
