How much will you save per lb, by buying the least expensive? Round to the nearest cent. 2.5 lbs for $8.75 or 3 pounds for $9.75.

Answer:

For the first one, divide the price by the number of pounds to get price per pound.

$8.75/2.5 lbs = $3.5/lb

$9.75/3 lbs = $3.25/lb

Then take the difference $3.5 - $3.25 = $0.25 Same thing for the 2nd one. Divide $12.35/11

If you had 10 lbs, at $1.54 per pound..........

Would be over $15, so 11 pounds would be even more. The other prices would cost even

Soooooooo...... answer is $1.12

Explanation:
