PLEADE HELP

how might similarities and differences in genetic codes or the proteins built as a result of these codes, be used to determine how closely related different species are?

Evolution is the mutation of genetic sequences and amino acid sequences that come from these genetic codes. So if you think two species have the same ancestor they have to have a similar sequence.

If you compare sequences of a gene from two different species who seem to have the same function, determine the differences you can comment on their relativity level.

The fastest way to do is is online with bioinformatics tools
