Zayed is helping his classmates get ready for their math test by making them identical packages of pencils and calculators.

He has 7272 pencils and 2424 calculators and he must use all of the pencils and calculators.

Answer:

The number of pencils in each package is 3.

Explanation:

The total number of pencils = 7272

The number of calculators = 2424

He has to create greatest number of package and the condition is he has to use all the calculator and pencils.

The minimum number is 2424 which is number of calculators, So he can create maximum of 2424 packages. He must use all 7272 pencils.

So to find the number of pencils, we need to divide the number of pencils by the number of calculators.

The number of pencils in each package =
(7272)/(2424) = 3

The number of pencils in each package is 3.
