A(-2, 2), B(4, 2), C(-6, -1), D(0, -1)

AB = CD = 4 - (-2) = 4 + 2 = 6

BD = AC. Use the formula of a distance between two points:

d=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2)

Substitute the coordinates of the points B and D:

d=√((-1-2)62+(0-4)^2)=√((-3)^2+(-4)^2)=√(9+16)=√(25)=5

BD = AC = 5

The perimeter of parallelogram ABCD:

P = 2 · 6 + 2 · 5 = 12 + 10 = 22

Answer: a. 22 units.
