The point-slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

We have the slope m = 4 and the point (2, 1). Substitute:

y-1=4(x-2) use distributive property

y-1=(4)(x)+(4)(-2)

y-1=4x-8 add 1 to both sides

\boxed{y=4x-7}
