The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have
5x+8y=16. Convert:

5x+8y=16 subtract 5x from both sides

8y=-5x+16 divide both sides by 8

\boxed{-(5)/(8)x+2}
