What are the roots of x^2-4x+4?

The roots are just the zero value of the formula. To find these, we factor:

(x - 2)(x - 2)

(x - 2)^2

to make this into a zero, we set x-2 = 0, then solve for x

x = 2

If x = 2, then the brackets = 0, and those are the roots

The roots are x = 2
