I believe your question refers to mandatory community service for students who are trained in high school.
In relation to this, we can affirm that the obligation is beneficial in the sense of providing that young people participate in institutions that seek to bring about social improvements in the community, in addition to allowing young people to have access to real social problems that, many times, are far from their reality. This creates more progressive young people, sensitive to society and more human.
However, making this a mandatory requirement may not be a positive option, since we do not know the time available to each student, the other activities that a student may be involved in and even the student's willingness to participate in this type of service.
