lets say oxana's dog weights x kg therefore Evan's dog would weight 7x kg (because his dog is seven times heavier) and both together weight 72 kg if we put this to an equation we have:
7x+x=72 => 8x=72 , x=9 kg => oxana's dog
since we are asked Evan's dog's weight we need to multiply by 7 so we have: 7*9=63
