Answer: (x, y - 8)

Explanation:

Start with the innermost parentheses (reflection over the y-axis), which changes the sign of the y-coordinate:

  • (x, y) → (-x, y)

Now perform the next inner parenthesis (rotation 180°), which changes the signs of both the x- and y-coordinates:

  • (-x, y) → (x, -y)

Now perform the last set of parenthesis (reflection over y=4), which has the rule of (x, y) → (x, y + 2(4 - y)) = (x, y + 8 - 2y) = (x, 8 - y):

  • (x, -y) → (x, -8 + y)
