A line passes through (-3,-1) and is parallel to the graph of y=4x+3. What equation represents the line in slope- intercept form?

Answer:

y = 4x + 13

Explanation:

in order for a line to be parallel to another the slope has to be the same.

since slope intercept form is y = mx + b then m is the slope and in the first equation 4 is = m making it the slope

then in the equation and the y intercept in 13 when plotting it on a graph

ps. am 100% sure about the slope and 75 % sure about the y intercept
