Percent increase = (new price - old price) / old price

Substituting what we know

.15 = (new price -175)/175

Multiplying each side by 175

.15*175 = new price by 175

26.25 = New price-175

Add 175 to each side

26.25+175 = new price-175+175

The new price of the coat is 201.25
