I agree with the person above.

When you say the letter “I” others might think of you referring to either yourself or an eye. The only difference in the two terms, is the way it is spelled, (and it’s meaning).

Pronunciation is exactly the same.

Eye, because if you say the letter "I" out loud then compare to "eye" they sound exactly the same because vowels and the spelling of the word.
