a^2+2ab+b^2=(a+b)^2
If 100x^2 is a^2 and 60x is 2ab and 9 is b^2,
Then a is 10x and b is 3, and (a+b)^2 is (10x+3)^2 so the area of a square rug is one side squared so one side can be written as 10x+3
