We know opposite side = 10ft and adjacent side = 36 ft

We use tan formula


tan(A) = (opposite)/(adjacent)


tan(A) = (10)/(36)

To find A we move tan to the other side, it becomes tan^-1


A =tan^(-1)((10)/(36))

A = 15.52

So angle of elevation to the sun is 15.52°
