50 POINTS!!! I have this question in geometry, but I don't know how to answer it! This is the scenario:

You want to measure the height of the iconic old water tower in Gary, Indiana. You have a walking stick, and a 200ft tape measure available to you if you require them. You cannot climb the tower. DEVISE a method based on your knowledge of similar triangles to calculate the height of the tower. PROVIDE a sketch of your plan. STATE any assumptions you make and JUSTIFY them. PROVIDE a mathematical equation or process that would allow you to calculate the height of the tower. Give an answer for the height of the tower.

Answer: To solve this question, you would first measure yourself and your self and your shadow, and then the shadow of the tower while the sun is in spot in the sky, you will then use the ratio (your height/your shadow) = (towers height/ towers shadow)

You will then cross multiply and divide to find the towers height
