Benjamín Franklin (January 17, 1706 - April 17, 1790) is best known as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, as well as being a prominent polymath who made several contributions to science and society in his time. He provided several theories regarding the use of electricity and was considered as a point of reference for the American values to all the nation.
