What would be the ploidy of the viable gametes produced by a tetraploid individual if nondisjunction of all chromosomes occurred in meiosis I?

A. Diploid

During meiosis, the number of chromosomes is reduced by half. Since a tetraploid cell has four copies of each chromosomes, gametes produced from that cell would be diploid, having only two copies of each chromosome.
