The area of a triangle is twice the area of a square. If the base of the triangle and a side of the square are equal, what is the ratio of the height of the triangle to the side of the square?

Answer:

1:1

Explanation:

If you're square is a true square, than the height and base will be the same. If one is larger than the other, it's a rectangle.

If you slice a square diagonally, you still have the original height of the square.
