(HELP NOW!!!)The punishment of Germany by the Allies in the Treaty of Versailles was one of the major factors that led to the rise of Hitler and World War II.

(#1)People would still have hated the Wiemar govt because they were used to strong leaders (Bismarck and Wilhelm) and the republic was not.

(#2)Germany would not have wanted revenge if they were given a just peace so there would be no need to fight again

(#3)Nationalism would have continued to rise in Germany and may have taken a different form but World War II was still inevitable

(#4)Germany not being punished in the war would have made the Nazi party more of a fringe party

(#5)Fascism would have still appealed to the German people therefore they would have joined Italy and Spain regardless

(#6)The Wiemar republic would not have been as weak and would have been able to survive the great depression

(#7)Germany still would have gone into a Great Depression because the rest of the world did, so it would have changed nothing
