Answer:

7.81

Explanation:

we have the points: (-2, -2) and (3, 4)

where i will call
x_(1)=-2, y_(1)=-2,x_(2)=3,y_(2)=4

We can find the distance using the Pythagorean theorem, considering that the distance in x between the points is:
d_(x)=
x_(2)-x_(1)=3-(-2)=3+2=5

and the distance in y between the points is:
d_(y)=
y_(2)-y_(1)=4-(-2)=4+2=6

and using the Pythagorean theorem

d=\sqrt{d_(x)^2 +d_(y)^2}

d=√(5^2+6^2)=√(25+36)=√(61) =7.81

the distance between the two points ia 7.81
