The formula of a distance between two points:

d=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2)

We have the points P(2, 2) ans Q(7, 4). Substitute:

|PQ|=√((7-2)^2+(4-2)^2)=√(5^2+2^2)=√(25+4)=√(29)\approx5.4

Answer: PQ = 5.4
