Carlose has 38 apples .he put 8 apples in each bag.if he fills as many bags as possible ,how many apples are left.

Answer:

4 bags and 6 apples

or

4.75 bags of apples

Explanation:

First, take 38 divided by 8. You get 4.75. That means 4 bags have been filled up.

Next take 8 times 4. you get 32. then take 38-32 and you get 6.

That means there is 4 bags of apples and 6 left over. You could also say 4.75 bags are filled.
