What does x equal in these two equations?

-12x + 4 = 100

X - 39/4 = -12

firstly we subtract 4 from 4 which will remove it from the equation and then we also subtract 4 from 100.

Now the equation will be -12x=96

Then we divide -12x by -12 to figure out the value of x and we also dive 96 by -12.

-12x/-12= 96/-12

Answer is x = -8
