Also, that one night that they toasted a drink in honor or Mr. Pirzada is when Lilia really felt his absence, and her parents can to the conclusion that they would most likely never see Mr. Pirzada ever again. This night is when Lilia threw away the candies also because of the fact that she did not see a reason to keep them since she was never going to see Mr. Pirzada ever again.
