Why do you think the Berlin Wall symbolized the Cold War? Do you think it represented something different to East-Berliners and West-Berliners? What do you think it meant to them and why?

I think the berlin wall represented a barrier between the two halves of germany and to east side it meant death and feeling boxed in and to the west it meant separation from the rest of germany.
