While courts have protected undocumented immigrants' civil liberties, some argue that those protections are being ignored.

The correct answer is B.

Undocumented immigrants in the United States are allowed to start the naturalization process in due course, meaning if they fulfill all the needed requirements. They are entitled to some basic healthcare but they are not granted access to all medical services, it depends on the state they are living in and its restriction on healthcare for them. Some states, i.e. Arizona require immigrants to carry a document that states that they are there legally. All this is proof that the civil liberties of undocumented immigrants have been protected. Civil liberties protect five basic freedoms : freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition to the government. All undocumented immigrants are granted these rights.

Civil rights of undocumented immigrants are less clear. Civil rights are basic rights granted to every person regardless of their circumstances ( race, nationality, color, religion, equal protection under the law etc). In case of undocumented immigrants, they are somehow limited in many cases, i.g. they don't have access to general healthcare, they are subjects to control ( the demand to carry an ID document with them), not all of them can become citizen. All this makes them less equal than any other U.S citizen and it means their civil rights are not clear.
