President Lula supported the redistribution of oil wealth so that the money would not be spent on foolishnesses, as the oil and gas belonged to the people, the money should be invested on creating jobs and consolidating a powerful supplier of equipment and services necessary to explore the pré-sal. The pré-sal money would be redirected to education, environment, culture, science, technology and the fight agaisnt poverty.
