So if we look at the equation, there is a common factor of 5x in both variables.
So basically 5x (2x -1) is our answer since 5x * 2x = 10x^2 and 5x * -1 = -5x

D because you factor out a 5x from each thing. When you take 5x out from 10x^2, divide 10 by the 5 and you get 2 and divide the x^2 by x and you get x, so you’re left with 2x. Also, divide 5x by 5x and you get 1, and so you get D
