A certain blueprint shows two fences. Fence A is 1 1 4 yards long but is 1 1 2 inches long on the blueprint. What is the unit rate for inches per yard on this blueprint​? If fence B is 5 yards ​long, how long is fence B on the blueprint​?

Fence B in blueprint is 4.91 yards long (or 4.91071428572)

Explanation:

If fence B is 114 yards long IRL and 112 in blueprint, then that means that every 114 yards, it's substracted 2, or every 57 it's substracted 1.

So 5 / 57 = 0.08771929824

You substract: 5 - 0.08771929824 = 4.91071428572

Simplified it's 4.91 Yards
