Hello there!

Tensions existed from be beginning between the Pertains and the native peoples who controlled Southern New England. relationships destroyed as the Pertains continued to expand their settlements aggressively and as Europeans ways increasingly disrupted native life. The Pertains hoped to transform the tribes people into civilized Christians though their daily contacts, but the native Americans resented and resisted the colonists attempts to change them. Their refusal to conform to Europeans culture angered the colonists and hostilities soon broke out between two groups.

Hope this helped have a nice day.
