Select the descriptions that are true of the equation y - 6= - 3(x+2). Select all that apply.

slope = 1

slope = -3

(2, -2) is a point on the line.

(-2, 6) is a point on the line.

Select the equation written in point-slope form.

2x - y=4

y=2x-4

y+2=2(x - 1)

y - x=4

The point-slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

We have

y-6=-3(x+2)\to y-6=-3(x-(-2))

Therefore

slope = -3 and the point (-2, 6)

------------

y + 2 = 2(x - 1)

2x - y = 4 it's standard form Ax + By = C

y = 2x - 4 it's slope-intercept form y = mx + b

y - x = 4 → x - y = -4 t's standard form Ax + By = C
