Answer:

Komodo dragons can produce both through sexual and a sexual modes of reproduction but here we will focus on sexual reproduction only.

Step-by-step explanation:

Unlike all other higher living organisms, Komodo dragons have male and female partners. There is a certain time of year during which mating between male and female partners occur and that timing is mostly from May to August.

When the female partner finds a male partner, they start to have sex. However, if two male partners simultaneously want to court with one female then a fight can ignite between both and one who wins stat to lick the partner female.

The process of sex starts when mounts on his partner and claws her skin and begins the process of sex.

When the sperm fertilizes the egg of female, the eggs are not laid immediately. She finds a suitable season and space to lay eggs and that is mostly September. Although research has not given a reasonable logic behind this delay of egg laying process but some evidences suggest that it has something to do with the the summer heat.

The eggs are laid in nest of bird so that the eggs are kept incubated. The females stay with eggs and protect them while they are in the process of incubation. However, once the eggs are hatched and newborns are released there are not alot of evidences that suggest parental care.

Hope it help!
