Explanation:

The midpoint of a line joining the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) has midpoint

[(x1 + x2)/ 2]. (y1 + y2)/2 ]

Substituting the given points:-

Midpoint of MN = (-2 + 8)/2 , (4 + 10)/2

= 6/2 , 14/2

= (3, 7) (answer)
