What was the focus of the Progressive Movement during the early 1900s?

The focus of the Progressive Movement, which started actualy in the late 1800's and lasted until 1920's, was to eliminate problems caused by the industralization, urbanization, immigration and political corruption in the US.

This movement mainly tried to fight against political machines and their bosses in order to take down all the corrupt representation.

Also, it sought regulation of monopolies and corporations trough the called untitrust laws, which was a way of promoting equal conditions between them.

The focus of the Progressive Movement (1890-1920) was eliminating problems caused by political corruption, industrialization, urbanization and immigration. This movement wanted to establish direct democracy. The most important outcomes of this era were that women got the right to vote.
